First was the light and then came the vase. During the process of finalizing the shape of the Kide light, I noticed the stability I had created with the hexagon structure and the ratio of the angles. I found it too tempting not to try it in another function, and so was the vase born. The fundamental idea behind the KIDE vase is, that instead of a flat bottom surface there are six identical sides that will always keep it tilted. Even when you have water and flowers in the vase, it will not lose its balance due to the mass of water keeping the center of gravity low enough. This enables the flowers to be displayed in a ikebana-like philosophy.
